The Twinning Project UA 23 NDICI TE 01 24 is heading to Berlin from 24 to 26 November for its 4th Study Visit – three days of high-level exchange on how to regulate media and online content in a fast-changing environment.
Hosted by DLM and Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb), the Study Visit will bring together European media regulators, experts and a delegation from the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, creating a unique platform for discussion, peer learning and cooperation.
- Day 1 – Cross-border media regulation
Country-of-origin under AVMSD, cooperation under the ECTT, voluntary cooperation tools and new coordination mechanisms under the European Media Freedom Act. - Day 2 – Enforcement in practice
Hands-on case exercises on actions against content, hosting and access providers, followed by a joint plenary and Steering Committee meeting. - Day 3 – Strategic research for smarter oversight
National research strategies from Germany, France, Italy and Greece, plus NCTVRb-UA projects, showing how evidence and data drive more effective supervision.
Bringing together regulators from across Europe and Ukraine, this Berlin Study Visit is more than an exchange of views:
it is a laboratory for new enforcement solutions, a catalyst for stronger cross-border cooperation, and a concrete step towards more resilient, independent and evidence-based media regulation in Europe and beyond.
